Justine Law has over ten years experience in the hospitality industry working in Melbourne, London and Italy as a chef, nanny, cleaner and housekeeper extraordinaire. It all began in high school home economics classes with the discovery that she liked the idea of playing house that has led her full circle over a 15 year period to her basing her own business on the hows and whys of running a home smoothly and well organised.

Administration, secretarial and PA roles all fulfilled her filing and organising urges to a certain degree, but none of the jobs so far were to be her vocation. After spending four years cooking, nannying and housekeeping overseas, she realised that she could use her skills in Melbourne and Domestica was born in May 2004.

Justine is highly organised, logical and resourceful with a good eye for design and detail.

She has studied Small Business, Tour Guiding, the IKEA catalogue (in great detail), Italian and Reiki and amongst many other things, she loves:

* Fossicking through charity and junk shops
* Organising and sorting things
* Buildings with character
* Italy
* Antique napery
* Prosecco
* Melbourne
* The scent of her favourite flowers: tuberose, jasmine, lilies, roses, daphne and gardenia
* Historical documents and photographs
* The smell of rain
* Receiving letters and postcards in the mail
* Taking pictures
* Rhubarb and custard
* Her collection of vintage frocks and aprons

Justine commenced a Diploma of Liberal Arts in 2008 with a special interest in history. This complements the area of organising she is most passionate about-preserving memories and helping people tell their unique stories.
